Editing the services on your website

In this article, you'll learn how to edit the services on your website: the photo, the name, the short summary on your home page, the full description and the questions people ask. It's worth a look whenever your prices, process or service area change, so the site says what you'd say on the phone.

To open your services:

  1. In the menu, click Website, then Content.
  2. Click the Services tab.

Open a service

  1. Click anywhere on the service's card, or click Edit on the right.
  2. The card opens into an editor with the service name at the top.
  3. When you're done, click Close in the top right to fold it back into a card.

Change the photo

  1. Under Photo, click Add photo if the service has none yet. If it already has one, hover over it and click Replace photo.
  2. Pick a JPG, PNG, WebP or GIF from your computer or phone.

The photo uploads as soon as you pick it. You'll see Uploading… while it's on its way, and you don't need to click Save changes for it.

Edit the name and summary

  • Service name is the heading for the service on your site.
  • One-line summary is the short line that shows on the service's card on your home page. Keep it to a sentence.

Write the full description

The Full description box is the main text on the service's page. Leave a blank line between paragraphs, and each one shows as its own paragraph on your site.

Tip: Write it the way you'd explain the job to a customer: what's included, how it works and what they need to do before you arrive.

Add and remove common questions

Under Common questions, each question has a Question box and an Answer box.

To add a question:

  1. Click + Add a question.
  2. Type the question in Question and your reply in Answer.

To remove a question:

  1. Click the X to the right of the question.
Note: A question left blank is dropped when you save, so you don't need to clean up empty boxes.

Save your changes

  1. Once you've changed anything other than the photo, a Save changes button appears at the bottom of the service.
  2. Click Save changes. You'll see Saved next to the button when it's done.

Your edits show on your live site within a couple of minutes. If you see Couldn't save — try again, click Save changes again.

Warning: Clicking Close before Save changes leaves your text edits unsaved. Save first, then close.

Adding or removing a service

You can't add a new service or delete one from the Services tab. It only edits the services already on your site. If you want a page for a new service, or one taken down, contact Review Monster and we'll set it up for you.
