Rescheduling your onboarding call

In this article, you'll learn how to move your onboarding call to a different time. Plans change. If the time you booked stops working, you can pick a new one yourself and skip the back-and-forth by email.

To open the reschedule page:

  1. Open the call reminder that has a reschedule link in it, and click the link.
  2. A page called Pick a new time. opens in your browser. You don't need to log in, because the link itself tells us whose call it is.
Note: The only way onto this page is the link in a message. There's no button for it in your dashboard. If your message doesn't have a reschedule link, reply to your confirmation email and we'll find a new time with you.

Check when your call is now

Under the heading, a line tells you when your call is booked right now, for example "Your call is currently Thursday, 16 Oct at 10:00 AM." That way you can see what you're moving before you change anything.

Every time on this page is shown in your device's time zone. The time zone and your current local time sit under the calendar, so you can check they look right.

Pick a new day and time

The calendar works the same way it did when you first booked.

  1. When the page loads, the first day with open times is already selected. Days with open times are shaded green.
  2. To see another month, use the arrows next to the month name.
  3. Click a green day. That day's open times show up on the right.
  4. Click the time you want. It turns solid green.

If nothing's open, the page says "No open times in the next three weeks. We'll reach out to set one up." You don't need to do anything else.

Move the call

  1. Once you've picked a time, the button at the bottom right changes from Move the call to Move to and the time you picked, like Move to 2:00 PM.
  2. Click it. The button shows Moving… while it works.

When it's done, the page changes to Moved. See you then. and shows:

  • New time: the day and time of your call, in your time zone.
  • Zoom link: the link you'll use to join. If the link isn't ready yet, the page says it's on its way by email.
  • A note that a new confirmation is in your inbox and your old time is cancelled.

You don't have to cancel the old time yourself. Moving the call takes care of it.

Tip: Join from a desktop or laptop if you can. It's much easier to follow along while we walk through your setup.

If something goes wrong

  • "That time was just taken. Pick another." Someone else booked that hour while you were choosing. Reload the page and pick a different time.
  • "This link has expired. Reply to your confirmation email and we'll find a time." A reschedule link only works until two days after the call it was sent for. Reply to your confirmation email and we'll sort out a new time with you.
