Reading and signing your service agreement

In this article, you'll learn how to read and accept your service agreement during onboarding. It's one of the last things you do before booking your onboarding call, and you can't move on until it's accepted.

To get to your agreement:

  1. Work through your onboarding steps until you reach the Finish section.
  2. The Agreements step opens with the heading Agree and go.
Note: This step is on the web only, as part of onboarding in your browser.

Which agreement you'll see

You get one agreement, and it matches the plan you signed up for:

  • Review Automation Agreement for the Review Automation plan
  • Website Development Agreement for the Website plan
  • Reviews and Website Agreement for the Reviews + Website plan
  • SEO Services Agreement for the SEO plan

The name of your agreement sits at the top of the box. If you're on Reviews + Website, both agreements are in the same box, one after the other, and you accept them together with a single tick.

Reading the agreement

The full text sits in a scrolling box. Until you reach the end, the checkbox underneath is greyed out and you'll see Scroll to the bottom to enable acceptance just above it.

  1. Scroll through the agreement inside the box.
  2. Once you reach the bottom, the hint goes away and the checkbox becomes clickable.
Tip: Take the time to read it. There's no summary on this page, and the full agreement is what you're accepting.

Accepting it

  1. Tick I have read and agree to the followed by your agreement's name.
  2. Wait a moment while it saves. Your acceptance is recorded as soon as you tick the box.

Under the box you'll see a Signing as line with your name. It explains what happens when you accept:

  • Your acceptance is dated.
  • It's stamped with your IP address and the browser you used.
  • A signed copy is emailed to the address on your account.

If something goes wrong while it saves, you'll see a red message such as Couldn't record the agreement. Try again. Untick the box and tick it again to retry.

If you've already accepted it

When your agreement is already on file, you'll see Accepted next to its name at the top. The checkbox is already ticked and can't be changed, and there's no need to scroll. You can go straight to the next step.

Moving on

  1. Click Continue. It only works once the box is ticked.
  2. The next step is your onboarding call, where you pick a time to meet.
